Deep yellow with gold highlights. Very ripe aromas of dried fruits and honey; atypically exotic for Montee de Tonnerre. Fat, sweet and full in the mouth; nicely concentrated but rather aggressive, lacking the usual finesse of the cru. Finishes tactile and dry. This vineyard was clearly affected by hail in 2007, but Julien Brocard noted that rot was not a factor
