Good deep red. Subtly perfumed aromas of superripe,
crystallized red berries, mocha and toasty oak. Sweet, fat, thick and
full in the mouth, with superripe flavors of strawberry, game and damp
earth. Much sweeter on the back end than the basic 2001 pinot, but
perhaps a bit heavy for this bottling

Nose: Cherries, forest floor, strawberries, fresh mushrooms, herbs Mouth: Velvet oak tannins with long finish of crushed red berries
