There are approximately 200 cases of the stunning 2000 Pinot Noir Santa Maria Hills. This offering reveals a complex nose of earth, figs, black cherries, spice, and apple skin. In the mouth, it is Volnay-like, with sweet red and black fruits, beautifully integrated acidity and tannin, subtle wood, a supple texture, and a 30-35-second finish. This beauty can be drunk now as well as over the next decade.
