The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon is a beauty. One of Ric Forman's classics, it boasts a dark ruby/purple color as well as a gorgeous bouquet of cassis, dried herbs, cedar, blackberries, and minerals. This medium to full-bodied Cabernet exhibits firm tannin in the finish, in addition to excellent sweet fruit, and a subtle, nuanced personality. Cellar it for 3-4 years and drink it over the following two decades.
